Tour Details

The magical Lofoten Islands……location, location, location. There are few more beautiful archipelagos anywhere in the world, but don’t just take our word for it – National Geographic consistently votes the Lofoten Islands among their top island destinations due to its “deep, placid fjords,” and “jagged, rocky peaks.” It has also been nominated for UNESCO World Heritage status due to its incredible landscape.

Needless to say, Lofoten is a photographer’s dream and anyone who enjoys their hand behind the lens will not be disappointed. This tour is unique because it is created specifically for those people who dream about seeing the Aurora Borealis aka the Northern Lights and for those people who want to photograph it. You don’t need to have any prior knowledge beforehand, as you will be taught all you need to know in an optional photographic workshop before setting out to hunt for the Northern Lights.

Experience Can Make All The Difference Between Success And Failure

Hence the Team's 95% Success Rate

Andy Keen and his team of fellow Northern Lights chasers have over 10 years’ experience of intercepting the Aurora for their clients: in multiple locations across Scandinavia and often in rapidly-changing weather conditions. Their proven track record, in-depth knowledge and photographic expertise ensure you stand the best possible chance of seeing and capturing the Aurora in-camera.

Although nobody can offer a 100% cast iron guarantee that the Aurora will be visible in the night sky (which can be due to multiple factors including; local weather conditions and low levels of solar activity on any particular given night, for example,) what we are able to say in complete confidence is that ever since this particular team started leading tours way back in 2010, 95% of their guests have seen the Aurora during their stay, and very often not just once but rather on multiple occasions. In essence, Andy and his team live and breathe the Aurora and you can rest assured that they shall not only wish to share that passion with you, but that they will also be doing their level best to fulfil your dream – possibly a lifelong dream – of seeing it.
