Tour Details

Aurora Borealis, The Stokkur Geyser, The Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon, Waterfalls, The “Blue Lagoon”, Whales and much more besides. A six day Iceland based adventure in the company of professional photographers and veteran Aurora chasers, Andy Keen and Alex Keen.

Aptly dubbed “The Land of Ice and Fire”, Iceland’s very foundations lies upon centuries of Geothermal, Volcanic and Tectonic activity.

Lying directly on top of the boundaries of the American and Eurasian tectonic plates, Iceland’s landscape is, as one can imagine, a marvel of nature. With its towering mountains; ancient glaciers, dramatic fissures and fertile tundras,

Iceland stands out as a veritable “Land before time”. During this adventure, you will visit many of Iceland’s most incredible features such as Gullfoss (one of Iceland’s largest and most dramatic waterfalls) and the Strokkur Geyser (a regularly erupting geyser resulting of the constant subterranean activity). You will also pay a visit to Þingvellirvatn and the Þingvellir National Park, a site that is not only culturally and religiously significant to the Icelandic people but is also the point at which the tectonic plates are pulling apart. Finally you will visit The Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon: a natural wonder of Iceland with enormous icebergs over 1000 year old breaking off from the Vatnajökull glacier and drifting silently into the lake.

With its vibrant, cultured residents; dramatic, “national geographic” landscapes, artisan built capital city and natural wonders, Iceland is already a photographers paradise.

As you can see from the itinerary below this tour is absolutely packed with activities. We are fully aware that people travel thousands of miles to visit this beautiful island and, as such, we want our guests to experience and to see as much as possible.

Experience Can Make All The Difference Between Success And Failure

Hence the Team's 95% Success Rate

Andy Keen and his team of fellow Northern Lights chasers have over 10 years’ experience of intercepting the Aurora for their clients: in multiple locations across Scandinavia and often in rapidly-changing weather conditions. Their proven track record, in-depth knowledge and photographic expertise ensure you stand the best possible chance of seeing and capturing the Aurora in-camera.

Although nobody can offer a 100% cast iron guarantee that the Aurora will be visible in the night sky (which can be due to multiple factors including; local weather conditions and low levels of solar activity on any particular given night, for example,) what we are able to say in complete confidence is that ever since this particular team started leading tours way back in 2010, 95% of their guests have seen the Aurora during their stay, and very often not just once but rather on multiple occasions. In essence, Andy and his team live and breathe the Aurora and you can rest assured that they shall not only wish to share that passion with you, but that they will also be doing their level best to fulfil your dream – possibly a lifelong dream – of seeing it.
